Choose Starter or Pro
Need more? Upgrade from your dashboard. Starter ($19.99) handles most events with 500 photos and 1 hour of video. Pro ($49.99) is built for large events with unlimited event photos and video.

Already know you need the full experience? Create a paid event directly. Set a custom vanity code, upload a cover photo, and pick your theme before guests arrive.

Is there a monthly subscription?
No. Cap Share uses a pay-per-event model. You pay once per event — never a recurring fee. Your first event is always free to try.
What does the free trial include?
Your first event is completely free. It includes up to 25 photos, 10 minutes of total video, and your gallery stays active for 90 days from your event date. Cap Share branding appears on the guest upload page.
What is the difference between Starter and Pro?
Starter's advertised price is $19.99 (full price $24.99) and includes 500 photos and 1 hour of video. Pro's advertised price is $49.99 (full price $74.99) and includes unlimited event photos and video, making it the right choice for large weddings, full-day conferences, or events where guests are especially active photographers.
If I host multiple events, do I pay for each one?
Yes. Each event beyond your free trial is priced individually. The advertised prices are $19.99 for Starter (full price $24.99) and $49.99 for Pro (full price $74.99). You pay per event, not per seat or per month.
Can I upgrade my free event to a paid event?
Yes. At any time from your host dashboard, you can upgrade your free trial event to Starter or Pro. Checkout shows the full price, any advertised discount or coupon, and the final total before payment. The upgrade takes effect immediately — your limits expand, Cap Share branding is removed, and the storage clock resets to 1 year from your event date.
What happens to my photos after the storage period ends?
Free event galleries are retained for 90 days from your event date. Paid event galleries (Starter and Pro) are retained for 1 year. Before then, we recommend downloading your photos together as a ZIP and saving each video individually.
What is a vanity join code?
Paid events (Starter and Pro) can set a custom join code — for example, SARAH-AND-MICHAEL or ACME-OFFSITE-2026. Guests can type this short code instead of the auto-generated one. Both codes work simultaneously.
